Abstract

Amid rapid digital transformation, e-learning has emerged as a pivotal tool for knowledge dissemination and educational development, especially within the fields of Islamic studies and the Arabic language. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of e-learning in achieving integration between Arabic linguistic sciences and Islamic jurisprudence by analyzing contemporary models and international as well as regional experiences. The research outlines key theoretical frameworks supporting the integration of language and Sharia, illustrating how the separation of linguistic instruction from Islamic legal studies weakens the ability to interpret religious texts and negatively affects the linguistic competence of students specializing in Sharia. Furthermore, it investigates the role of digital technologies, interactive learning platforms, and artificial intelligence in reinforcing this integration, whether through the development of integrated curricula or the production of digital content that merges linguistic and jurisprudential elements.

The study reviews educational initiatives from countries such as Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and the United States, alongside leading international online universities. These models demonstrate the feasibility of achieving effective integration between language and Islamic law within flexible and comprehensive e-learning environments. The findings underscore the importance of developing integrated digital curricula, training qualified educators, supporting scholarly research in this field, and creating specialized online platforms, while considering the linguistic and religious particularities of the Arab-Islamic context.
