This study investigates how biophilic design elements at Hamad International Airport influence sustainability performance. Using a quantitative-methods approach, the research will measure biophilic features (indoor garden “Orchard”, natural light, vegetation, water features, natural materials) and sustainability indicators. Data will be collected from a sample of departing and transfer passengers (N =300) via a structured questionnaire. Quantitative analysis will use structural equation modeling to test direct effects; The study aims evaluate how biophilic features contribute to measurable sustainability performance at HIA. Practical outcomes include design guidelines for airports seeking to combine biophilic design with sustainability goals.
